For dealers
List your cars free. We bring the buyers and deliver.
Buyers in Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique shop for cars in South Africa. ZapZuba lists your stock in its showroom, sends you their enquiries, and delivers the car from your premises when one buys. The sale and the money stay between you and the buyer.
Free listing
Your cars in our showroom with photos, price and your contact details on every listing. No fee and no commission.
Buyers across the border
We promote the showroom to buyers in Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Mozambique who buy their cars in South Africa.
Enquiries the same day
Each enquiry comes straight to you, with the buyer's details and the country the car is going to.
Delivery from your premises
We quote the buyer a fixed, itemised price and deliver by road, with a verified driver and a recorded handover (PIN, photos, signature).
How it works
- 1
Sign our showroom agreement (MOU). It's short, and it's free.
- 2
Send us your cars: photos, price and details. We list them within two working days.
- 3
Buyers contact you, buy from you and pay you directly.
- 4
When one wants the car delivered, we collect it from you and drive it to them.
What we ask of you
- Keep your listings accurate, and tell us within 24 hours when a car sells or its price changes.
- List only cars you're free to sell, with any finance settled at sale or released by the bank.
- For a car leaving South Africa, give the buyer the invoice, the registration papers and a signed letter of authority for our driver.
ZapZuba isn't part of the sale and never takes or holds the purchase price. We give no warranty on the car; that stays between you and the buyer.
Selling to a buyer outside South Africa?
If you book and pay for the delivery to the buyer (a direct export), SARS may let you charge VAT at 0% on a new car, provided it leaves within 90 days through a designated border post and you keep the export papers and proof of delivery. Used cars have their own rules. See SARS's VAT 420 guide for motor dealers and check with your tax adviser.
